A TRADITIONAL FINCA IN THE SPRAWLING COUNTRYSIDE OF MALLORCA

01/

Can Lluïssó is an enclave of pared-down relaxation and rural simplicity. Tucked into 2 hectares of secluded farmland and carob trees, a century-old stone farmhouse built with natural materials; lime, soil, and stone using traditional techniques as a temple where relaxation informs and nourishes. Can Lluïssó holds the tradition of forms and space while keeping an intuitive way for accommodating primary uses - an openness encouraging rejuvenation and play. Comfortable and inviting, the home is perfect for long afternoons with family and friends, cooking in its generous kitchen or relaxing by the pool. The warm terracotta touches throughout and deep wooden beams offer quintessential Mediterranean style; a feeling of ease and timelessness.

Up to 10 guests can be accommodated in the five comfortable bedrooms, and en-suite bathrooms. The guest rooms capture the pastural purity of the farmhouse. Uncluttered, clean lines complement a shooting palette of muted beiges and terracotta, lending an earthiness to the space, while the skeleton of the house has remained untouched. Each room is outfitted with a king-size bed and linens, as well as materials of wood, brushed, oiled ash, and stone. We love Can Lluïssó as a restorative countryside getaway with easy access to beaches and bustling towns.

MALLORCA

The warm and carefree spirit of the Balearic islands suits a wide variety of travelers. Though still small, relatively speaking, the largest of the islands, Mallorca, has an inviting sensibility and diverse landscape. We love it for its bright blue beaches, small fishing villages, beachside paella, and rocky cliffside drives.
